THE MAN WHO MANAGED TO GET PUSSY OFF HIS MIND
Erase, draw and take a picture, at least one thousand and two hundred times. That’s the classic animation process which makes the man who wants to take pussy off from his mind move and provides him a soul. A dream, maybe the real end of the world as we know it, bringing the character and the man back to his pre-lunar, original hermafrodite condition. The moon steals away. A cosmological disruption that sets up the whole humankind all over again, rigenerating and taking it back to a condition of purity and communion with no gender distinction.
A cartoon in ten scenes, ten framings, and one thousand and two hundred drawings that now are only photographs. These frames are what is left from the shooting, showing the traces of the act of drawing and erasing, as witness themselves of the story and its making. They are small drawings on paper, measuring 5×8 centimenters, that we could define as snapshots of all the drawings, which have left themselves a trace that is represented and showed by the real snapshots, the photographs precisely, animated and turned into movie frames. Small pictures for macro shots, a small space that reveals the paper’s sponginess, the very matter of the the drawing realized with a micro-lead pencil, minute but rich with dettails. All these pictures together last two minutes and thirty seconds and constitute a movie about a guy who manages to take it off his mind.
